I got home from class today and turned on the news, only to find that the entire elected Jordanian government tendered it's resignation today as a result of protests against high food prices and poor living conditions.  This is democracy at work!  The people speak and the King listens.  If only the Egyptian issue were so easily dealt with.  This change is not a sign of instability, but an indication that Jordan is in fact quite stable and flexible because of it's organization as a constitutional monarchy.  I'm going out to dinner now, but I'll post more later!
